Where do you represent?
I represent Mount Vernon NY, my hometown and my upstate hood of Haverstraw NY. All of Rockland County NY.
How long have you been into music?
I started producing when I was 13. Rapping when I was 17, so doing music as a whole 12 years. Rapping 8 years.
Life. Things I've lived, things I've fantasized about. Realities and worlds I create all revolving around women. Women are a big influence on my music.
What has been your favorite moment in your career so far?
My favorite moment has to be early January 2013, when I set the new year off with "Puttin On" and gained my stamp in the game by going viral.
What goals do you wish to achieve in music?
I wish to establish my brand and be known as one of the most lyrical, influencial icons in the game. That's that Don Status.
Would you change anything about the music industry?
I would give the artist control and maybe break free of labels and just being affiliates of self. Where the artist is in full control of his/her career and profits and image.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years from now?
I see myself with a grammy nod. Dream big, act bigger, or go home nameless.
